Raven and I both have benefited beyond my expectations since beginning with Carolyn in her Canine Conditioning Program. Raven has dramatically increased his body awareness, his balance, his stamina, his strength and endurance which all translate to his performance in agility and my ability to asses his movement. Carolyn’s very precise instruction, clear training approach and careful guidance focuses on the vital foundation training, then moving into progressions as the dog and handler are ready. Safety is always number 1. Her very specific feedback helps me understand my dog and the problem solving I may need to use as I work on our exercises. I highly recommend Carolyn. She has appreciable integrity and commitment to helping handlers and dogs achieve success in whatever goals one has. You will always get more than 100% from her and from her desire to personalize all of her instruction for you and your dog. - Diana Bistagne and Raven |
This course is wonderful and a must for anyone looking to improve their knowledge of conditioning with their dog in whatever sport they are participating in! The resources included in the course along with video tutorials are easy to locate and comprehend. I have noticed huge strides in both my dogs and myself with regards to canine conditioning. I have increased my knowledge of knowing what to look for in the exercise, the ability to create a weekly exercise program and to think in the moment of completing the exercise to determine what my dog needs. My dogs are stronger and their body awareness and connection to me has increased. - Penny Smith and Pilot |
Physiotherapy was stripping away my relationship with my sidelined agility dog, Teyla. She had been on/off sore and although I knew she could return to agility in a truly body-safe way, I had no idea who could teach me the skills I needed to get her body back to being fit and healthy. I am beyond grateful I reached out to Carolyn -- and that Carolyn took us on in the Path to Success! I now have unprecedented access to everything I could ever possibly want to know about conditioning my dogs! The skills and knowledge Carolyn has taught me in a short time is truly life changing. The Path to Success was the missing link in my canine conditioning, and my only regret is that I didn't join sooner! I would highly recommend this program to anyone. - Brie Woodrow and Telya |
I joined the Path To Success K9 conditioning program with Eloise. It has been fantastic addition to our training program. Not only do these exercises strengthen my dog physically but mentally as well. I enjoy the fact we have so much contact with Carolyn. We have 2 weekly zoom calls that if we have questions on exercises we can get help there, you also learn by watching others work their dogs. We also have a monthly 1:1 zoom call that we can touch base on what exercises will best help our dog. We have full access to a exercise library so we can refer to it at anytime. I am enjoying learning more about how to keep my dog in top shape for agility. It has been a joy watching how excited she gets for exercise time and time spent training together certainly strengthens our working bond - Jessy Howe and Eloise |
My work life keeps me busy 12-16 hours a day. Carolyn has been great in helping me find the time to fit in my sessions each week with reasonable expectations. The rapid fire calls are great as I can jump in at a booked time and get feedback quick and easy. I can receive instant reinforcement on what we are doing well in our exercises or tweaks with what we are doing incorrectly. If you want to sit and watch the whole call twice a week you will get a lot of information. Or you can always watch it later when you have time. It’s very flexible. The monthly 1:1 calls are fantastic for me. It gets me refocused and rejuvenated for another month of work. Since starting the program I have seen Vanish’s body change from loose and unbalanced to toned and balanced. His stance and top line for confirmation is impeccable. He is jumping and moving in agility with improved balance and speed. His mental development, patience and endurance has grown exponentially. He can’t wait to go down to the exercise area to work! - Anneli Hilton and Vanish |
I am a Veterinarian with 32 years experience and the role of fitness and rehab intrigues me and is so often overlooked as important components of our dog’s health. I do a lot of dog sports with my dogs from Rally, Agility and Sheep Herding to hiking so I want my dogs to remain active and injury free. I want them to have their best life. My dog Nell is enrolled in this Program and she and I have learned and are learning so much. I have seen the growth in myself as a handler and trainer and Nell’s fitness and body condition have improved dramatically, especially her body awareness. Most of all she and I are better teammates! I highly recommend this program! I really can’t say enough good about it. It has been a game changer for me. Carolyn is an awesome instructor. She is so knowledgable and gives great critiques without making a person feel like they don’t know what they are doing and because of that you build confidence in yourself and that confidence transfers to your dog - Troye Kyte and Nell |
I can't say enough about Carolyn's coaching program. I originally signed up because I have a high drive, crazy dog that does agility and I was very concerned about him injuring himself. My goal was injury prevention. I had done some workout type things on my own before joining this program, but I always did the same things and got bored with those exercises so wouldn't do them often enough or build on them to make any difference. I needed a program that would give me variety, be catered to my dog specifically, and keep me accountable for consistently doing the workout program. Carolyn's program did all that and more. With constant one on one feedback and building on each exercise specific to my dog, Score's physical fitness improved as well as his bar knocking also decreased showing his increase in strength. - Teresa Rodney and Score |
When my Sheltie puppy, Kip, was 8 months old, my vet recommended physical therapy to address some concerns we had about his knee. We live in Hawaii where there are very few options for canine physical therapy, so I was very happy that Carolyn offers remote coaching. I am completely new to canine rehab and conditioning training and it gave me peace of mind knowing that the exercises Carolyn recommended were tailored to Kip’s needs, and safe for a growing puppy. Her instructions were clear, and the feedback was quick and detailed. I enjoyed working with Carolyn, Kip and I both learned a lot and had fun with the exercises. Kip is now 17 months old and training for agility. He goes hiking all the time and helps out on the farm. I am very grateful that Carolyn helped give him a good foundation so that he can lead an active happy life. - Emma-Lei Gerrish and Kip |

We first started searching for a conditioning programme when our then 3yr old Portie, Boomer, suffered an iliopsoas injury. If we were to continue with agility training/competing, it was obvious he would need to be in better shape. The elite programme is intense but enjoyable. Carolyn helps you want to succeed through video reviews and zoom calls. Her exercises are well thought out with logical progressions. We were hesitant to get into online learning but Carolyn's sessions have settled that question. In two months Boomer's progress has been spectacular. He now stands in a natural stack position without being prompted. His back is much straighter and overall he is much stronger (not good for me when he decides to chase something!). Anyone doing or considering dog sports should look into Carolyn's programmes. She will help you keep your pup(s) in top shape! - Dave Campbell and Boomer |
Carolyn’s technical approach to teaching and coaching the exercises is impressive and critical to the dog-handler team. The online teaching platform was incredibly intuitive and the one-on-one calls with Carolyn were indispensable to our progression; Carolyn absolutely cares about each team and this is exemplified by her passion for the details and doing things in a way that will most benefit our canine athletes. I would highly recommend the course to anyone that wants to take their canine’s conditioning and coordination to the next level! - Dennie Welch |
